Lindsey Holler & Connie Requarth, Parish Nurses
Lindsey Holler and Connie Requarth will be sharing the role of Parish Nurse for our church. One of them will be available on Sunday mornings and at various times during the week. Please come talk with them in person or by phone if you have questions or concerns about medications, provider instructions or other health issues. A little about them:
Lindsey grew up in Moweaqua and is an alumna of Central A&M High School. In 2003, she graduated from Richland Community College with an associate’s degree in Nursing and became the youngest to ever sit for the nursing board exam at the age of 19. In 2008, Lindsey graduated with honors from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in Business. She married Ryan Holler in 2015, and they have a teenager, George. Lindsey loves to fish, especially for crappie, and loves to hunt morel mushrooms in the spring. Her background is primarily in cardiac nursing, including cath lab and cardiac ICU.
Connie is a Decatur native and retired nurse who earned her RN degree at DMH School of Nursing, her bachelor’s degree from UI Springfield and her master’s degree from UI Chicago at Peoria. She worked many years as a Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health and most recently in Internal Medicine. She and husband, Fred Spannaus, have 5 children and 10 grandchildren between them and both love to travel. Connie has taken the Master Naturalist program, where she helps with two native gardens and stays alert for birds.
